FURY IN THE SLAUGHTERHOUSE - "Won't Forget These Days" (Offizielles Video)

- LYRICS -

Bring me back to life
Never let me go
Your troubles and your strife
I saw them
Take me by the hand
As we cross through battlefields
Nobody understands
‘Cause there's nobody at the wheel

Beautiful James
I don’t want to wake you
Beautiful James
I don’t want to wake you

Everybody lies
One hundred times a day
The silence in your eyes
Is far too rare to give away
And it's exactly why I stay

Beautiful James
I don’t want to wake you
Beautiful James
I don’t want to wake you

I don’t want to wake you
Beautiful James
Don’t want to wake you

I don't want to wake you
Don’t want to wake you
Beautiful James
Don’t want to wake you
I don’t want to wake you

Though I may have to
I may have to
I may have to

Beautiful James
I don’t wanna wake you
Don’t wanna wake you
Beautiful James
Don’t wanna wake you
I don’t wanna wake you
Don’t wanna wake you
Beautiful James
Don’t wanna wake you
I don’t wanna wake you

A great Music Video for the song "Heart and Shoulder" by Heather Nova from 1999.
Taken from her album "Siren" released in 1998, which is her third of currently eleven album releases.
Such a lovely track, even though did not gain massive traction chart wise.

Grund:

“So lonely”, “Roxanne”, “Message in the bottle” und “Every breath you take”.
Was geht mehr?!?

Video clip of Patricia Kaas
And just a concert recording from Patricia

Patricia Kaas
"Ceux Qui N'ont Rien"

Quand t'as laisse de ta jeunesse

Quand t'as laisse passer ta chance
Ou qu'elle ne t'a pas reconnue
Tu t'retrouves en etat d'urgence
Au bureau des objets perdus

Moi qui connais le gris
Des couleurs de la nuit

Refrain:
Laissez-moi chanter
Pour ceux qui n'ont rien
Laissez-moi penser
Qu'y a toujours quelqu'un
Qui cherche a donner
Quelque chose de bien
Qui cherche a couper
Les cartes du destin

Quand t'as r'garde passer ta vie
Avec l'impression d'etre en faute
Tu t'demandes pas si t'as envie
De vouloir etre quelqu'un d'autre

Quand t'as r'garde toutes ces vitrines
Avec tes mains derrieres ton dos
Meme si demain t'es James Dean
T'auras l'impression d'etre zero

Moi qui connais le bleu
Des matins malheureux

Refrain:
Laissez-moi chanter
Pour ceux qui n'ont rien
Laissez-moi penser
Qu'y a toujours quelqu'un
Qui cherche a donner
Quelque chose de bien
Qui cherche a couper
Les cartes du destin
Laissez-moi chanter

Refrain:
Laissez-moi chanter
Pour ceux qui n'ont rien
Laissez-moi penser
Qu'y a toujours quelqu'un
Qui cherche a donner
Quelque chose de bien
Qui cherche a couper
Les cartes du destin
Laissez-moi chanter

Qui cherche a donner, donner
Quelque chose de bien
Qui cherche a couper
Les cartes du destin
Laissez-moi chanter

Chorus:
Like a bat out of hell
I'll be gone when the morning comes
Oh, when the night is over
Like a bat out of hell
I'll be gone gone gone
Like a bat out of hell
I'll be gone when the morning comes
But when the day is done and the sun goes down
And the moonlight's shining through
Then like a sinner before the gates of Heaven
I'll come crawling on back to you

"True Faith" is a song by New Order, co-produced by Stephen Hague.

Lyrics

I feel so extraordinary
Something's got a hold on me
I get this feeling I'm in motion
A sudden sense of liberty
I don't care 'cause I'm not there
And I don't care if I'm here tomorrow
Again and again I've taken too much
Of the things that cost you too much
I used to think that the day would never come
I'd see delight in the shade of the morning sun
My morning sun is the drug that brings me near
To the childhood I lost, replaced by fear
I used to think that the day would never come
That my life would depend on the morning sun
When I was a very small boy
Very small boys talked to me
Now that we've grown up together
They're afraid of what they see
That's the price that we all pay
And the value of destiny comes to nothing
I can't tell you where we're going
I guess there was just no way of knowing
I used to think that the day would never come
I'd see delight in the shade of the morning sun
My morning sun is the drug that brings me near
To the childhood I lost, replaced by fear
I used to think that the day would never come
That my life would depend on the morning sun
I feel so extraordinary
Something's got a hold on me
I get this feeling I'm in motion
A sudden sense of liberty
The chances are we've gone too far
You took my time and you took my money
Now I fear you've left me standing
In a world that's so demanding
I used to think that the day would never come
I'd see delight in the shade of the morning sun
My morning sun is the drug that brings me near
To the childhood I lost, replaced by fear
I used to think that the day would never come
That my life would depend on the morning sun
I used to think that the day would never come
I'd see delight in the shade of the morning sun
My morning sun is the drug that brings me near
To the childhood I lost, replaced by fear
I used to think that the day would never come
That my life would depend on the morning sun

Lyrics:
Times that I've seen you lose your way
You're not in control and you won't be told
All I can do to keep you safe is hold you close
Hold you close
Till you can breathe on your own
Till you can breathe on your own

Hold tight, you're slowly coming back to life
I'll be keeping your head up
I'll be keeping your head up, darling
Let go of all your haunted dreams tonight
I'll be keeping your head up
I'll be keeping your head up, darling
I'll be keeping your head up
I'll be keeping your head up
I'll be keeping your head up
I'll be keeping your head up
Head up
Head up
Head up
Head up...

I'll be keeping your head up, darling

Hold tight, you're slowly coming back to life
I'll be keeping your head up
I'll be keeping your head up, darling
Let go of all your haunted dreams tonight
I'll be keeping your head up
I'll be keeping your head up, darling
Darling, darling, ,,

Everyone keeps a darker place
To lose control,
You're not alone
And when you come looking for embrace
I know your soul,
I'll be your home

Til you can breathe on your own
Til you can breathe on your own

Hold tight, you're slowly coming back to life
I'll be keeping your head up
I'll be keeping your head up, darling
Let go of all your haunted dreams tonight
I'll be keeping your head up
I'll be keeping your head up, darling
I'll be keeping your head up
