A Projection Stockholm, Sweden
Stockholm is the epicenter for great Swedish post punk and offers a wide range of bands such as Then Comes Silence, It’s For Us and Principe Valiente, just to mention a few. However, one of the latest years most interesting bands on scene that has reached two albums into their career is A Projection. Their debut album “Exit” arrived already in 2015 and two years later the sophomore record “Framework” was released. In many reviews they’re described as post punk a bit like it was in the mid-1980s, “simultaneously creatively fertile and prone to oversaturation“.

Recently they signed to Metropolis Records and following their signing they debuted their new video for “Something Whole”, a track featured on their forthcoming third studio album Section. Music-wise A Projection have grown and developed as a band, and it shines through in the dark and dynamic range of new wave, post punk, goth and indie rock in the sound of their third album “Section” (out on October 25th).

Endlich haben REGGATTA DE BLANC ihr Repertoir um die fantastischen Meisterwerke aus STINGs erfolgreicher Solozeit erweitert!

Aus dem Trio wird grundsätzlich ein Quartett (plus Keybaords), kann aber bis zu einer 10-köpfigen Band, bereichert durch NRW-Musiker, die allesamt zur Crème de la Cème der Musikszene gehören, aufgestockt werden: Dimitri Tjelmanov (Trompete), Wim Wollner (Saxophon), Ralf Lohmann (Bass), Markus Wentz (Keyboards) und Jonas Wilms (Percussion). Komplettiert wird das Ensemble durch zwei Background-Sängerinnen.

Grund:
Der Megastar STING, der auf eine fast 25-jährige Solokarriere zurückblicken kann, hat sich in diesen Jahren an fast alle Genres herangewagt: Ob Jazz, Country, Pop oder Rock – alles findet sich in seinen unzähligen Hits wie “Englishman in New York”, “Fragile”, “Set them free” oder “Fields of gold” wieder.

Daher bietet Reggatta meets Sting unterschiedlichste Arten an Besetzungen an, da auch Sting mit ebensolchen über all die jahre gearbeitet hat. Auch hier wird "Tribute" wieder ganz groß beschrieben!

Und jetzt die Sahnehaube oben drauf:
Reggatta garantiert natürlich auch bei dieser Show alle THE POLICE-Kracher wie z.B. “So lonely”, “Roxanne”, “Message in the bottle” und “Every breath you take”.
